Which size should I order?

Measure both of your child's feet and go by the longer one. Measure from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe.

Choose a size that leaves a little room in front of the toes rather than one that fits exactly. A shoe that is too narrow pinches the toes; one that is too big slides around on the foot.

How do I measure the foot?

Have your child stand on a sheet of paper with the heel against a wall. Mark the tip of the longest toe on the paper. Measure the distance from the heel line to that mark in millimetres. Measure both feet and use the larger figure.

What are the shoes made of?

The upper is leather. The first-steps boots have a soft plush lining; the Barefoot line has a leather-covered insole. Each product page lists its own materials.

How do I clean the shoes?

Wipe off mud and dirt with a slightly damp cloth while the shoe is still damp. Keep chemicals such as thinner and petrol away from the shoes.

Do not dry a wet shoe next to a radiator or heater; pack it with paper and leave it at room temperature. Leather is an organic material and may take up some water in the rain.

How long does shipping take?

Can I return an item?

When will a sold-out size come back?

Sizes shown struck through on the product page are out of stock at that moment. Write to us with the size you want and we will let you know when it is back in stock.
