Our philosophy

Made by hand

Every pair is finished by hand in our workshop in İzmir. Cutting, stitching and assembly happen in one place, through the same hands. That is why the number of pairs we make in a month is limited.

Few models, more care

Our catalogue is small. Rather than putting out dozens of models a season, we make the few whose last we are sure of. When we drop a model, it means the last or the material was not what we wanted.

Materials

We use leather for the upper and the lining; in the first-steps boots the lining is textile fur. The outsole is thermoplastic: light, flexible and hard-wearing.

The full list of materials is written out in the specifications on every product page, so you know what is leather and what is textile before you buy.

The last

The last is the most important decision we make. A wide toe and a thin, flexible sole are common to all our models.

Sizes

We make sizes 21 to 30. Every size means its own last and its own work; rather than widening the range indefinitely, we chose to be consistent across the sizes we do make.

What we write is true

The materials, sizes and care instructions on a product page are accurate. We do not write what we do not know, and we do not make claims we are not sure of.
